Before we had photoshop... there were airbrusch and scissors. No ctrl C, ctrl V for this creation...
The artist made a scetch and foto. Afterwards he cuted and pasted the photo negative and printed it out.
The airbrushing completed the scene including shadows and missing bodyparts...
